Bespoke Oak Door: Pocklington Area

Made-to-Measure Oak Door

We recently manufactured this ‘cottage style’ door and frame for a customer in the Pocklington area.  Both door and frame are in Prime Grade ‘A’ European Oak.  Large external doors benefit from a visually attractive timber with considerable strength and durability.  Prime Grade ‘A’ European Oak has those qualities in abundance.

The door contains a Planitherm Total (Argon gas-filled) double-glazed unit – engineered to maximise comfort and energy efficiency.  A multi-point door locking mechanism fitted for security purposes.  Aquamac (AQ21) draught-excluding seals;  wrought iron handles ‘From the Anvil’; and an Exitex sill complete the package.

Bespoke Front Door

This is an external front door and door frame we recently manufactured, using Accoya® timber, for a customer in North Yorkshire.  The door and frame contain ten stained-glass panels that were provided by the customer’s own supplier.  We used traditional mortise and tenon joints to ensure maximum strength and durability.

We can reproduce any period or antique door to meet a customer’s exact specification.  Choose your colours and we spray your doors in our own in-house paint spraying facility.
