An elegant, bow-fronted wooden window photographed during manufacture at our Kirby Misperton workshop in North Yorkshire. The window was constructed with Accoya timber, and double-glazed with quality sealed units. The window features handsome Gothic-style raised astragal bars. The paintwork was undertaken at our own in-house spraying facility, and the finished product is indeed a thing of beauty. We are passionate about woodwork, and that passion is demonstrated in our finished products.
We manufactured and installed the above external door at a property in North Yorkshire.
The woodwork is in Accoya and Tricoya timber. Those modified timber types provide extreme durability, which is ideal for the British climate. We have a short video on our website, which explains all the benefits of Accoya.
The door was spray painted and pre-finished at our own in-house spraying facility at Kirby Misperton. Painting wooden products (during manufacture) makes sense because the exposed wood is sealed and weather-protected before installation.
Double Glazing
The satin glass is in quality double-glazed units. The ironwork consists of Astra chrome handles and a satin-chrome letterbox.
A quality external door makes a considerable difference to the visual impact of a property. It is the first thing visitors see and the last thing as they leave.
Sash and Casement Windows
We use traditional craft skills to manufacture and install a wide range of timber products – including sash windows, casement windows, and period doors. Our joinery manufacturing is undertaken by qualified craftsmen and guaranteed.
We are now back in production at our Kirby Misperton workshop – manufacturing timber products and taking new customer orders. The above image shows a door and frame currently being prepared for a customer premises to the west of York. We designed the door to meet the customer’s own specification. The door and frame were painted at our in-house spraying facility, as an integral part of the production process.
One of our installation teams will be fitting the door and frame soon. We passionately believe the best way to achieve real quality is to control the entire process from receiving the raw timber to fitting the final polished product in our customers’ homes.
We are manufacturing joinery products again, at our Kirby Misperton workshop, and making every effort to catch up with our order book.
In the near future, we will be in a position to install our products in customers’ homes. We will, of course, be working safely, following government advice and complying with social-distancing guidance for everyone. Ryedale Joinery remains committed to working safely and protecting the health and wellbeing of one and all.
